Prong is a highly influential American metal band formed in 1986 in New York City. Originally emerging from the gritty NYC hardcore scene, they became pioneers of the Groove Metal and Industrial Metal movements of the 1990s. The band is anchored by founding member Tommy Victor (vocals/guitar), whose unique rhythmic “choppy” guitar style has influenced everyone from Korn to Nine Inch Nails.
